Do Not Watch Your Buddy Swing
March 9th, 2008
Unless your buddy is a great golfer, it may be best NOT to watch him swing. Especially important - do not look to see what he is doing wrong. His swing may leave an imprint on your subsconscious and his bad habit may creep into your swing. Just watch his ball flight, but nothing else, and you will keep your mind free for your own game.
However, when you do see a golfer that has a great swing, watch him intently. Try to feel what he feels. His swing will make a positive imprint on your mind, which may improve your own game.
Do the same as you watch the professional golfers on television. Always, try to feel what they feel, especially if their swing is similar to yours.

Note: In Easy 80 Golf, we never try to change your swing. We provide simple drills that allow you to perfect your natural swing. I sincerely believe that there is no perfect swing that fits every golfer. Watch the various swings used by the best golf professionals and you will understand why I believe this. (For Example: Does John Daly’s swing look like Tiger Wood’s swing? Who else has Freddy Couples’ swing?)
Happy Golfing,
Bob
